WHAT IS THE MINIMUM / MAXIMUM SIZE GROUP YOU CATER FOR?

WHAT IS INCLUDED WITH THE LOVELY TEA PARTY? DO WE NEED TO BRING ANYTHING?

Lovely Tea Parties are designed to make your life as easy as possible; we will bring the afternoon tea; you bring the company!

“The Mayfair' tea party provides:

  • Dressing your table with vintage tea sets, cake stands, pretty tablecloths, napkins, and flatware.
  • A selection of finger sandwiches, cakes, tea, coffee, and lemonade.

The only thing we ask you to provide is somewhere to plug in a kettle! You will also need to consider table and seating for your guests
We will come and pack up and clean up at a time that was arranged at the time of booking
We highly recommend the addition of, “A tea lady” who will stay and serve your tea, as this is the perfect addition to transform your day to tea at the Ritz.

“The Islington” tea party provides:

We will deliver the tea menu along with the china for you to set up and create your own tea party.
All we ask is that you rinse the china, pack it up ready for us to pick up at a time that was scheduled at the time of booking.
Or you can arrange to pick up and drop of yourself at our facility in Aldie.

WHERE DO YOU HOST YOUR AFTERNOON, TEA PARTIES?

Essentially the very idea of a Lovely Tea Party afternoon tea party is that we come to you - your home, a function room or an office space! We are very adaptable to all kinds of spaces, no matter how big or small. We are a mobile service and provide afternoon tea parties around Northern Virginia.

CAN WE HAVE OUR OWN CHAMPAGNE, GIN, COCKTAILS...?

Yes! We're happy for you to bring along your own prosecco, gin cocktails etc... And we can serve these either in our teacups or champagne glasses. You will need to gain permission from some venues before bringing in your own alcohol.

HOW LONG DO THE TEA PARTIES LAST?

On average each tea party lasts around 1.5 hours to give you and your guests enough time to relax and enjoy the experience. If you are hiring a space then in addition to the tea party you will also need to allow some time for set-up and clearing away afterwards.

CAN YOU CATER FOR SPECIFIC DIETARY REQUIREMENTS?

Yes! The afternoon tea party menu can be adapted to suit dietary requirements. Just tell us more about your dietary requirements at the time of booking.

HOW DO I BOOK?

For all parties: $100 nonrefundable deposit and the balance is due one week prior to the party date. Any changes to numbers or requirements should be made no later than one week prior to the date of your party.
